Does RingCentral accept PDF privacy policies?
No. Your privacy policy must be a live HTML webpage on your domain. Linking to a PDF file, Google Doc, or Dropbox link will result in automatic rejection because the content cannot be parsed by compliance bots.
What if I actually DO share data?
If you share SMS consent data with third parties (like lead buyers or affiliate networks) for their own marketing, your campaign will be permanently rejected. 10DLC rules strictly prohibit sharing opt-in consent for messaging purposes. You can share other data, but you must exclude phone numbers/consent.
Does this apply to Sole Proprietors?
Yes. All brand types, including Sole Proprietors and small businesses, must have a compliant privacy policy if they are collecting data for SMS. There are no exemptions for size.
